There’s been quite a bit of buzz around Sacred Buzz and their single “Radio Radiation”—rightly so, as it’s a fantastic track, blending surfy, cool sixties psych with a wild jam vibe.
Now, the Berlin-based band follows up with an EP also titled Radio Radiation (Fuzzed up & Astromoon), which of course includes the standout single. So, what about the other five tracks?
They ride a similar wave, though none quite reach the brilliance of “Radio Radiation.” Each track is laid-back garage with a charming vintage touch. “Make It Wrong” adds a bit more punk edge but stays within the overall vibe. A solid collection, though missing another big hit—though most bands would be thrilled with just one.
