DREAMWAVE is a quartet from Bristol that originally found each other in Brighton due to shared preferences. After a few singles, their first EP is now ready. “Dreamwave And The Mindcave” (Velvet Echoes) is a highly recommended release.
The “Hidden Sun” single was once a teaser, and at that time, the band was more associated with Dream Pop. But that’s a red herring, as four of the six songs offer diverse Psych Rock with a touch of Garage Rock. Cool drifting tunes with hair-raising twists and hefty rock parts. We hope for more of that.
