Licklash has been working on their debut EP for quite some time, but the wait is finally over: Big Smile (Roolette) is now officially available. The four tracks are also offered as a lovely 7-inch vinyl—a worthwhile investment, as it’s a beautifully crafted release.
The band hails from Melbourne’s DIY punk scene, and their roots shine through with punchy garage punk. The standout track, “Party Line,” even leans toward a poppier vibe. Add three more explosive tracks, and you’ve got a solid, well-rounded EP.
