Ten years of Sun Structures, a landmark in neo-psych that Temples delivered a decade ago. While a reissue of the album already exists, Other Structures (Fat Possum) completes the anniversary celebration.
The EP includes four B-sides, all of which can easily stand alongside the tracks on the original album. These songs were cut due to Sun Structures‘ already substantial length, but they come from the same sessions and capture the same colorful spirit.
Prisms is the standout, a super cool and delightfully hazy track. However, the remixes of the mega-hit Shelter Song by Robert Levon Been (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and The S.L.P. (Kasabian) feel unnecessary.
