The noise rockers of Human Impact are back with a new album and a refreshed lineup. “Gone Dark” (Ipecac) is set to be released on October 4th.
This time, Chris Spencer (Unsane) and Jim Coleman (Cop Shoot Cop) are joined by Jon Syverson (Daughters) and Eric Cooper (Made Out of Babies).
According to Spencer, they were aiming for a rawer, harder sound. The first single, “Destroy to Rebuild,” achieves this but is far from unlistenable.
