The SUNFLOWERS have been on the road with their psychedelic garage rock for ten years. To celebrate the anniversary, the band from Portugal has dug deep into their archive. They’ve uncovered a total of 53 previously unreleased tracks. On December 13th, these will be released as two separate albums, SFHC 2014-2024 Vol. 1 and SFHC 2014-2024 Vol. 2, via Stolen Body Records.
We get demo versions of well-known songs, studio attempts, and reworked versions. One of these is the 2022 version of “Mama Kim,” a track from their 2015 EP Ghosts, Witches and PB&Js. This version features a much heavier fuzz sound.
