If the first album is titled Upstate, shouldn’t the second one be called Downstate (Drag City)? That’s exactly what Prison decided. The New York-based jam-rock project will release new tracks on January 31.
For this album, core members Sarim Al-Rawi, Matt Lilly, and Paul Major opened up the studio to new members. The first single, “Eyes For Keys,” plays loosely with psych rock, embracing a free-flowing style.
