For their 26th album, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have come up with a new concept: friendship. “Flight b741” (p(doom)) was created as a collaborative project to showcase how the Australians have grown together over time.
Musically, it leans towards 1970s Americana with country influences and garage rock nuances. The first single, “Le Risque,” already sets a cheerful tone.
