Mister Strange tends to be more of an EP band. With “III” (Sour Grapes) their third EP is here, while an LP is still pending. Nonetheless, the format shouldn’t matter as long as the content is right.
The Manchester-based band resides in fuzzy Garage Rock, and they embrace it here once again. Perhaps a bit heavier than previous output, with mosh parts interspersed, as seen on the fantastic “No Future.”
“Stuck In My Head” also carries a noticeable metal undertone. Overall, it’s another great release.
