They’re playing some seriously psychy garage rock over in France—and TV SUNDAZE are one of the standout acts in the scene. Their new album Plastic Bags / Packing Tape (Le Cèpe / Howlin Banana / Tape Source) is well worth a spin.
It’s packed with catchy psych rock that couldn’t be sunnier or more pleasant. Straight to the Atlantic coast, surfboard under your arm, and into the waves. Hair blowing in the breeze, skin kissed by the sun.
“Problem II” carries us smoothly on that wave, while “William Wilson” brings a bit of grit to the vibe. It gets nice and fuzzy on “BUGS! BUGS! BUGS!”
The record closes with a touch of California cool on “Clock’s Disease.” But really, we’re too amped up to laze around on the beach all day. Off to the club—funnel in hand.
