In 2022, Electric Eye performed at Sildajazz in a church, playing atmospheric and very free-form pieces. These live recordings were later enhanced with improvisations in the studio. Usually, the Norwegian band is known for their spacey psych rock, but this time they aimed for something different.
The result is called Dyp Tid (Fuzz Club) and is set to be released on November 15th. The pre-released track “Mycelium” indicates that this will be a very challenging and unusual album.
