Just three months after Vertigo, Wand is already back with new material. On October 25th, a new 12-inch will be released via Drag City. It features the already familiar “Help Desk,” three remixes of the track (by Beat Detectives, Dead Rider, and Dean Spunt), and a new song.
The new track is titled “Goldfish,” another gradually unfolding, layered rock song, much like the style we came to appreciate on Vertigo.
Also on October 25th, a demo compilation will be released, looking back at their earlier days. In a Capsule Underground includes Wand’s earliest recordings, featuring songs that would eventually make it onto their debut album Ganglion Reef.
