Always taking a new approach, the OSEES: For their next album, the Californians worked with samples, leaving out guitar and synth. You can hear how this sounds on “SORCS 80” (Castle Face), which will be released on August 9.
The first preview, “CASSIUS, BRUTUS & JUDAS,” is classic OSEES fare. It’s an over-the-top, wild punk song. Guests CansaFis Foote and Brad Caulkins contribute saxophone sounds.
